High success rate of graduates in the exit exam

According to the results of the exit exam conducted by the National Examinations Authority in coordination with the Afghan Medical Council in 2023 AD, the Spinghar Institute of Higher Education achieved a notably high graduation rate. The institute ranked eighth nationwide for the success rate of graduates from both public and private universities, and sixth among private educational institutions. Remarkably, it secured the top position among all private educational institutions in the eastern zone. This achievement underscores the institute's commitment to academic excellence and its role in producing qualified graduates in the medical field, contributing significantly to the region's healthcare workforce.

High success rate of graduates in medical specialties

In the year 2023 AH, a significant number of graduates from the Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar) successfully passed the entrance exams for medical specialties. This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Afghanistan Medical Council, the National Examinations Authority and the Ministry of Public Health. Developed New Five-Year (Strategic) Plan

At the end of 2023 AH, the Spinghar Institute of Higher Education-Nangarhar developed a new five-year strategic plan for the period (2024-2028) AD. This plan was subsequently approved by the Planning and Policy directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education in 204 AD, as indicated in their official letter number (540/406) dated (11/06/2024). The strategic plan aims to enhance the educational framework and institutional effectiveness of the institute, ensuring alignment with national educational goals and policies.

Creation of Research, Compilation and Translation Division

Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar) has initiated a research, compilation and translation division. This decision, made by the Board of Trustees on 31/01/2024, aimed to enhance academic support and resources. Following this, a qualified expert was recommended to the Academic Council. The council convened to review the proposal, and after careful consideration, the appointment of the proposed individual was approved by a majority vote of its members. This initiative reflects the institution's commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting research activities within the institute environment.

The Academic Ranks of (13) Permanent Lecturer has begun.

In line with the guidelines for recruiting academic staff in higher education institutions, the Spinghar Institute of Higher Education has commenced the process of validating the academic ranks of several lecturers.  A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education's directorate of Academic Affairs Monitoring and Evaluation visited our institute following letter No. 131 dated 26/10/1445. The delegation conducted a comprehensive review of the institute’s administrative, financial, student, academic and teaching affairs, along with an evaluation of student activities. According to official information from the Ministry, the institute's operations are deemed reliable and the evaluation results were positive. This assessment reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards in education and administration, ensuring that we meet the expectations set by the Ministry of Higher Education.

Appreciation of the Institute’s Performance Based an off-site audit by the Internal Audit Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education

Based on the findings from the off-site audit analytical report of Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar), a detailed report including annexes, was submitted to the directorate of internal audit of the Ministry of Higher Education with the approval of the institute's Academic Council on 12/10/1402 (13th). After reviewing the report, the directorate expressed satisfaction with the institute's operations and commended the current situation. This positive feedback underscores the institute's commitment to addressing the issues and improving overall educational standards.

Clearing the Verification of Student Enrollment, Results and graduation Records

The verification process for student enrollment, semester results and graduation records for the relevant semesters and periods of the previous academic year (2023 AD) has been successfully completed.
